The Alcon setup is actually considerably more when you factor in the need for the heim joints. The more affordable we can make it, the better but a lot of that comes down to how many people are actually willing to throw down some cash for this. The epb shouldn't be an issue but we are still working on it. Like I said, getting feelers first so we get the right info when this happens. CAD files of the front suspension scan should be heading our way Tuesday or Wednesday this week. The rear brakes really don't provide that much braking force so they would be 4 piston at most to keep cost down. You are looking at a ~75/25 brake split when you look at the weight distribution and factor in the momentum shift.
If you build it, I will buy.

I could really use better brakes that fit 17” wheels, oem and methods. Beadlocks with 37’s make the oem brakes feel inadequate. The cost of other kits have kept me away.

I will buy them, but they have to work with the OEM beadlocks. I do have the EPB.

The geometry ought to be the same/similar on the Gen 3. So this could pay dividends long term if you do indeed develop a front and rear set. I have never understood why other manufacturers never brought something to market for the 17” crowd.

Hey FRF Fam, my buddy runs Jordan Innovations and we are talking about doing a custom Wilwood kit for the Gen 2's (starting with the front, would be up to do the rears with the EPB if enough interest was shown). The goal is to get a 6 piston caliper with high temp dust seals under the OEM 17in/Method 17in wheels, or at most the Method 18in with slotted rotors. I'll post back here with CAD and pictures as we get further along, but wanted to see how much interest there was out here for such a kit. We are also targeting a lower price point and lower weight than the ALCON kits Depending on the amount of interest, we can get a group buy and a bunch of adapters together for a lower price. Let me know below if you are interested or have any other requests that we can try to accommodate.
