The 378cui. (6.2L) just makes it in the engine bay already.

Then you have a weight issues (if not using an aluminum block), fitment to the transmission, etc. etc. etc.
And of course you would need to model a new complete tune for it.
Or just rip out everything for the PCM and BCM and throw a standard stick shift and an ECU in instead.

Now, all this can be over come, if your willing to put up the money. LOL
By the time your are done you could have bought a TT!!!

I think Livernois's Twin Turbo did 800+ fwhp, full details on that build was never posted.
And I though I saw $100,000 for that build, transmission and rear was upgraded too.

I think the build cost 100k but there were more then just engine and drive train mods on the twin turbo build.

It would not surprise me at all if Randy has 100K into just his motor build, all the R&D, one off parts, and labor adds up quick. I think he already had 40-50k in his build and that was prior to the motor build and all the updates before TRR 14.

Might be factoring in truck cost also. Even with tranny and what not you wouldn't be at $60k

Nope truck is not included.

I thought the 6.6 was 30k. 10k for tt and install. Wheres the other 60k go.

I think it's more like $35,000 for a complete long block, all the bells and whistles. I'm going back a couple years ago when I inquired about this.
Maybe price came down a bit.

But offcourse the core question
Is it worth it
Or did biggest get the same performance "cheaper and better"
