Yea those are Knarly Mac! I'd definitely get them checked out to make sure the shocks body isn't damaged too bad ad maybe get them recoated with something that'll last longer. And the amsoil stuff you gotta put on often especially in an environment like Canada

Yeah, /i figured the amsoil would protect better.

Highway department use much salt on the roads there during the winter??

Fortunately ours just uses gravel on the roads for a bit of traction...works well for corrosion, but plays hell on your windshields!!

Mine are the same way up here in NY. Cleaned them everyday and they still looked that way. No getting around the damn salt corrosion up in the north country.

I spent the winter in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and they didnt plow or salt, just sand. So I was surprised, I reapplied it about 3 times.

Mine look a lot better than that after two winters and 100,000 Kms.
Are you storing in a heated garage, cause that'll do it...

Nope it won't fit in the garage. To be honest it never got driven a lot over the winter since I was on course so it is way worse than I thought it should be.
