Would definitely be a great alternative, especially to those of us up north that can't really avoid it. Sucks when you want to show off your suspension but it looks more embarassing than anything.

Problem is the cost....was not realistic. Also would have to do a lot of testing as well. Never know though, might be an option in the future.

The IVD works better on coilovers when you have the adjuster nut being spun on the threads from time to time changing height of the vehicle. Seems to keep the nut from corroding to the body better. Overall with no rock damage they both seem to keep rust away fine short term. Long term (years down the road) there is no great answer, harsh natural environments usually win. Every situation is different, so I am talking in general here.

Shock corrosion

Well my stock shocks are showing major corrosion after just 1 winter and ~10,000 mi. Removed them to do RPG stage 2 install and this is how they look. I had also coated them with AMSOIL as discussed in the undercoating thread, but it didn't help much.
