They look great!

How did they balance out?

They balanced decently. 2 tires took around 6-7oz, one took 9.5oz and the other took around 2-3oz to balance. The guy at Discount Tire (an assistant manager) that did the install and balancing said that was pretty good for a 37" tire. He said he would be worried if it was in the 13-14oz range. He also did the weights on the far inside of the wheel and right behind the spokes (I assume this is normal) and did a great job. Painted the weights black for me as well so they wouldn't show as easily from the outside.

* Nice!

* They look fantastic!

* At least they are available, seems 37" Nittos, BFG's, and Toyo 35" are on back order for several months!

Q: Are you on Mid Perch?

Absolutely not. Glassworks need a lot of prep work to get them perfect. You can do it faster than my body shop guy did, but I don't know how well they would come out. The surface is perfectly smooth, the gaps line up perfect (better than stock), and the paint is flawless. They are good, solid fenders, they just need to be worked to get them right. Not out of the realm of a DIYer, just need to be patient and probably have glass experience.

Update: Went to Texas Off Road Ranch with a few guys from the HARO group on Sunday. When we were out there, it is a night and day difference with 37's. Also, this tire is much more controllable than the stock tires, IMO. I felt like I could get these tires to kick out a little easier if I wanted and I could control the slide easier. The stock tires felt like they took a little more to get sideways and I never fully felt in control, more like I was along for the ride. With these, they tore up the dirt, slid easy (if I wanted) and, I felt like I could always tell it which way I wanted it to go.

Overall, I am extremely pleased with these tires. If you guys have any specific questions feel free to ask me and I'll do my best to answer them.
