Console Vault Thoughts?

Was thinking about getting a console vault and being $50 off this week is intriguing. Those who have one, what are your thoughts? The opening when the door is open looks small(ish) and not sure how much space you actually lose.

Love my console vault. I have one in my Gen2 2017 and one in my Bronco.
I have a 2023 ordered and had assumed I’d be able to swap my vault to the new ride. Is that not an option?
