One hope for you might in southern Colorado front range around Colorado Springs and south from there as we don't get near the snow that central mountains and northern part of the state gets. Very rarely do we have deep snow but being Colorado it is a crap shoot! Go online and check out some of the trail guides and maps.

From colorado here. I wouldnt recommend it. Trails here at that time of the year will have a few feet of snow. With narrow paths and a cliff on either end at times, I'd be afraid of sliding off the mountain (almost did in a 14 f150). Most of us go around may-sep. Any earlier or later and theres bound to be snow up there.

Native here - id not recommend it any normal year. 2020 has been nucking Futs with BS. The forest fires and COVID have closed just about everything and now winter is here. Instead you and your friends should road trip down and we all go hit the brewery’s and slopes....if they are open:(:rolleyes:o_O

Your best bet is Western Colorado in December. I live in Grand Junction and there are plenty of trails and BLM land in the GJ area. We usually don't get heavy snows that stick around and trails are open year round. Moab is only 1-1/2 away and winter might be the best time to run trails in Moab with no crowds. Have a good trip!
You could take the kokopelli trail from the grand junction area and drop into Moab.

im thinking MOAB might be our play
Moab is probably fine - likely even nice. Just be smart in a Raptor. Moab is AWESOME, but it's Jeep land, and there are some nasty fun trails there. There are TONS of trails - the majority of which I wouldn't take my Raptor on. However, there are plenty that would be fine as well. Just know what you are getting into so you don't destroy your pretty truck. Moab is a place to be armored up.

There are also some sand dunes near Moab that could be fun to **** around in. In addition you could consider heading onto Sand Hollow in the southwestern corner of Utah.
