My rear shocks were replaced by the dealership after using the chassis ears on it, and the ride quality has improved exponentially! No more clunking on my end. For context, here's what they did:
And here are the shocks they installed (see attached). Mentioning the SSM 50972 worked, and they confirmed my truck was one of the ones affected by the issue. The shock numbers match that of the repair order, and again, the truck rides fantastic.
Even if I jump on the bed like some have done, there’s no clunking whatsoever. Hope this helps anyone still dealing with this issue!
Ps.: Wanted to note my truck has the 35's, not the 37's.
