Clunking sound on Gen 3 too

I agree, more pronounced when cold for sure.
74 degrees today in Md and took my 21 to the dealer and had the service manager drive with me in the passenger seat. He drove across the street to a service road to an area where there are storage bldgs. He noticed it right away. I asked him if this was normal, he said definitely not. Went back to the dealer and he wrote up a ticket. Will be taking it in April 11th which is the same day I am having a defective windshield replaced. Yes true story. Also rear left fender flare over wheel well had to be repainted due to the finish peeling off. @#$% This is my 4th Raptor and first one I have had any problems with. I am very dissapointed to say the least.
All this under 500 miles. (If this was not my 4th one and I was 10 years younger I would want to beat someones brains in right now)
At the end of the day I am grateful for being able to afford a truck like this and live in the USA. I will keep everyone posted on what happens with the noise up front.

I took mine in last week. Noise/clunk felt in pedal area. Dealer said they heard it but couldn’t find anything loose and they sent a message in to Ford. Definitely worse when it’s colder and seems to be worse in comfort mode and better in sport setting. Im going to follow up with the dealer soon to see if they have heard back from Ford yet.

Clunk in rear suspension when going over bumps slowly. If you bounced the rear bumper up and down there was a loud clank. Dealer looked at it and is ordering new rear shocks. On back order of course.

Keep us updated. Yeah. You can totally feel it in the pedal. I just drive around with cruise control anymore because the pedal is super annoying. Ito baffling how much you can feel through that stupid pedal. I did take mine out and its all once piece. Last time I paid any attention, Ford gas pedals had a separate for the pedal with a hinge that probably helped with vibration dampening. Now its just one giant piece of plastic bolted to the firewall eating up all the vibrations. If you go under the truck, right on the other side of the super thin aluminum from where the gas pedal is, you have the exhaust so you can really feel that. Not to mention the suspension rattling all over the place.

So I just picked up my 22 37 package and I have a bit of “pedal feel.” I honestly can’t really hear anything, the only time I can really feel the “clicking” is when I’m going slow, in quiet mode, radio off, and really looking for it. Not sure if this is abnormal, I know coils/bypass coils seem to be noisy (4runner was the same way after I installed Bilstien coils, buddys Jeep same thing after Kings)
I do want to say I do hear the same clunk when bouncing on the rear tailgate, but everything I’ve read from years prior is the bypasses can make a “popping” sound when the oil gets pushed in and out, granted this the first truck I’ve had, let alone one with live valves and RR. I do notice it is more pronounced when it’s 35° vs 70°… makes me think it is a fluid pushing through the valves. I used to work on hydraulic/air valves and solenoids in a past life and none of that shit is quiet.

Which gets me thinking. My brother has a Ranger Tremor with the Foxes and RR. Maybe I’ll take that for a spin and see if that does a similar noise.

So i just took my truck in to my local dealer and had their senior tech ride along with me then drive a bit. He definitely felt and heard the shocks doing their thing. They plan to order 4 new shocks... so now the waiting game begins. I dont have any paperwork at the moment, but I will plan to share that with the group once the shocks get swapped out.

My issue is more the front end, under the floorboard clunk on roads with small bumps, changes in pavement, etc. Mine is much more noticeable when the bed is loaded. Hauling my ATV in the bed has a huge impact. Feels like something in the front suspension or that area is loose but 1st dealer visit assured me "it's normal". Anxious to see other's resolutions here. Annoying as heck - feel like I'm driving a 30yr old Ranger with worn out shocks.

Its not normal. I took mine to the dealer over a week ago and let the service Manager drive it who has been with ford for 20 years. It took about 3 minutes for him to look concerned.
My appointment is April 11th
