I don't have a way to confirm its the front coil-over, can't take it off and drive it to see(kinda). The rear shocks do make noise when jumping on the back of the truck but I pulled them and still had noise. Maybe it's just the most audible and once I get it fixed I will then notice my rear shocks, who knows at this point.

I got my gopro out last night and got it charging, I'll get it mounted under the truck soon. Whatever mine is, the loudest most noticeable clunk is 100% coming from my right front. Have driven down the same bumpy road, hit the same pot holes over and over and over trying to diagnose it.

Anybody live in the Midland/Odessa/San Angelo/Lubbock area that has a raptor that doesn't clunk and wants to do a little diagnosing for the benefit of the group?

I want to check the exhaust. I have a four post lift. As soon as my work load eases i will get it on this week and get the truck in the air. I am getting more and more annoyed as days go by

Will your truck fit on the 4 post? If so what lift do you have?

Maybe someone could video this ‘driveshaft wiggle’ and maybe we get a willing Jen Too owner to check for similar behavior? It would seem to reason that if the play is verifiable on Jen Too trucks as well as Jen Tres, but only the latter has the clunk you could dispense with DWT(driveshaft wiggle theory).

I mentioned this pages back, but someone should be able to put a ratchet strap, or tie a string or rope around the driveshaft and put enough pressure on it so that it won't wobble around, then go for a drive and see what happens.

Would the driveshaft make noise when vehicle is not moving such as when people bouncing in the bed? My point we might have multiple issues before we figure it out…

So either tomorrow or Wed i will do a more thrilled inspection, if anyone have ideas what to check, different protocols let me know. I plan on taking videos as well.

I definately think there are multiple issues. I changed my super noisy rear passenger shock with a new OEM one. The loud BANG BANG BANG is gone. I now just have the normal click click click that is consistent in all 4 shocks which I had in my gen 1 and gen 2. Its a bit annoying but I think that is normal. Ill probably pull the interior and do sound deadening/insulation on the floor so I at least dont feel it. These aluminum trucks... you sure do feel everything.

Fox is going to rebuild my OEM shock so we will see what they say.

I spoke with Fox yesterday, they would not touch my shocks unless they came from Ford first. The Live Valve actuator is a Ford installed setup, not Fox, and the whole warranty from Ford thing. I asked the technician I spoke with to run that up the ladder but he would not accept them at the time.

I told him I was going to install a perch collar on one myself and tell them I messed it up and Ford would no longer warranty it....that somewhat got his attention and he said if that happens to let him know.

5400 miles on my 2021. Front passenger makes a clunking sound when going under 35-40mph over bumps. Just started doing this last week. I’ve done quite a bit of researching since then. Can also feel a subtle vibration in the gas pedal when driving it. Drives like a charm on the highway though ‍♂️ I drive a solid bushing streetcar and can accept the clunkiness of parts for their intended purposes and noises. But this just started, and it’s only in the front passenger is which why I’ve looked into it. I drop it off to the dealership Sunday night, but from what I’ve read, no fix or they’ll call it “normal”.
