I spoke with Fox yesterday, they would not touch my shocks unless they came from Ford first. The Live Valve actuator is a Ford installed setup, not Fox, and the whole warranty from Ford thing. I asked the technician I spoke with to run that up the ladder but he would not accept them at the time.

I told him I was going to install a perch collar on one myself and tell them I messed it up and Ford would no longer warranty it....that somewhat got his attention and he said if that happens to let him know.
Thats odd. I talked to Fox and he sent me a rebuild link an said it would be 150 bucks. I explained that it was from a gen 3 raptor and he said, thats no problem. I wonder why the mixed messages.

Yeah, that's the noise. It's hard to get a video to do it justice with the background noises for me, but that's it. Cl-clu-clu-clunk. I've tried my canon DSLR but it picks up more background noise than my cell phone. Can't find my go pro to mount under the truck, but I can't imagine the audio down there would be any good.

If you mount it to the part that’s clunking, it should be really loud. If you use a hard mount and not one that absorbs vibration.

Here is my clunking noise in the passenger front side. Is this what everyone is talking about with the clunking? Drop mine off Monday morning...
What the hell going on with these trucks?

Mine is good now that I had to buy a replacement shock but if another one acts up and there is no aftermarket shocks available, this thing is getting dumped.

I guess a video doesn't mean anything. its more audio. sense we don't know where is coming from. but agreed its hard to compare to our own sounds because of background noise. with luck we'll get a definitive answer soon. since I do have a noise as well just might not be as bad. (YET)
