I actually offer a service to help new truck drivers in keeping their vehicle between the lines, and it works way better than the departure assist. For only 500 bucks I’ll take a can of neon pink spray paint and draw a line down both sides of your hood, and as long as you keep them lined up with the road lines, you’ll be ok.

Once you get the hang of it, my removal process is even better. With a simple, one time application of “Angle Grinder Magic” (TM) I remove the stripes and give you your money back. I offer this service locally, but will travel to any part of the country at your expense, in order to offer this amazing service

Wow that’s awesome and such a unique idea. It’s great that other FRF members can offer such an amazing service. I don’t think I could do this myself especially with the magic part so I would prefer that a professional like yourself would complete the work for me.

It sounds like I need to pay for two trips which is fine and perfectly acceptable. I am ready when you are and can’t wait to get started. Please contact me with further details so I can send you a deposit to get on your schedule. I imagine this keeps you extremely busy so curious how many days out are you so I can get an idea how long I need to wait.

Thanks again!

How exaggerated are the claims that the raptor is too wide and won't work as a daily driver? I'm very interested in one, but I'm afraid that it will be a pain to live with on a daily basis as parking would be a challenge, and it won't fit in parking garages, or that it won't go through some narrow toll booths.

Reading threads here, it is agreed that the raptor is probably one of the widest passenger vehicles available right now, but is it so wide that you guys would have to think twice before heading out?

Thanks!

I had the same thoughts before I bought mine...so,what did I do...I bought mine, sight unseen, and had never even drove one at the dealer...had it shipped to me and first time driving a Raptor was on the way home.....Bottom line...ITS NOT BAD AT ALL...and after owning it for a few months, just as easy to drive as any "Pick-Up"... As far as a Daily Driver...if I lived in a big city where parking was a hassle,I'd of thought more about it,but living in the country, not really a major factor for me....It can be a challenge finding parking, and you will find yourself in better shape health wise, since you will be parking in the BACK of the parking lot at the big box stores to stay away from all the IDIOTS in Beaters that dont know how to open their doors or pull into or out of spots....Other than that..its a fantastic ride..!!

I daily mine and the width is not a problem. Can be tough to fit in the garage

One thing for sure, is the other drivers on the road treat you differently. Size matters :)

Just realized I never answered the original post question.

I live in the DC area and have zero issues with it as a daily. I don’t do parking garages under 6’8”, which hasn’t been an issue yet. I haven’t noticed anything different in everyday driving from a normal full-sized pickup truck. It eats up road irregularities with ease and is an incredible time behind the wheel.

Drove mine on vacation from Texas to Las Vegas had no issues, even fits in Mandalay Bay parking garage. It is a little wider but never have had any issues so far. Really have to take into consideration where you live in drive. Big city probably would not be fun daily driver.

I'd consider LA a big city. Best. Daily. Driver. Ever.

Anyone who tells you that a raptor is “too wide” is high on ***... or just can’t drive.

Completely exaggerated. I've been driving one daily since 2011... You can do it without issues.

Yes it's wide, I park it carefully, but I do that with all my cars.

Same here and I'm in 100% agreement its completely exaggerated.
