I live here in the Philippines & I had my Raptor for 2 years now. The street conditions here aren't as good as what you have in the US, but I still get to drive it anywhere here. Short pf saying that you would have an easier time with your rig there.

Hahahah! Unfortunately I'm used to small cars (currently I drive a 2018 BMW M3). My wife will also be driving this, so would you say that its a non issue for a real woman too? :p
My wife drives a mini cooper and gets in my Raptor and drives to work when her car breaks down. I think you can handle it.

Four more inches and doing it in Manhattan. Doesn’t get anymore tighter than this, unless in a tight trail. You go man!!!!!!

I live in a town with tight roads, small parking spaces, and low parkades. I daily it and work around all of it. Def need to think about it here and there. And of course, some places it just doesn't fit, period. And any pickup is going to be harder to parallel park than a smaller car. But full cameras and radar help a lot.

Mirrors are the same width as a regular F150, but you gain a lot more width back when you fold them in. Fold in the Raps and only get a couple of inches.

Between the performance, all the modes and the extra width, it isn't the vehicle for everyone. And that is the point in a way, isn't it? I did a lot of measuring and scoping out parking etc. before I got mine and just said F it, gonna get it anyway. Was a great decision. Nobody else drives it though.

Here it is parked beside a Celica for comparison.

IMG_2432 (002).jpg Southern California. Wife loves to drive the Raptor, and will choose it over the other cars. We do consider it our "RV" meaning that generally it is saved for weekends and fun. It does not fit (length, not height) in our suburban 20' garage. We assume we're going to park "out" a bit. Small price to pay to be associated with such an outstanding vehicle.

How exaggerated are the claims that the raptor is too wide and won't work as a daily driver? I'm very interested in one, but I'm afraid that it will be a pain to live with on a daily basis as parking would be a challenge, and it won't fit in parking garages, or that it won't go through some narrow toll booths.

Reading threads here, it is agreed that the raptor is probably one of the widest passenger vehicles available right now, but is it so wide that you guys would have to think twice before heading out?

Thanks!

Daily driven here in San Francisco and Oakland Ca. Not too wide at all just be carful in selecting parking spots (door dings). My wife hates it because I circle the lot about 5 time before I pick a spot. Parallel parking is easy with the 360 camera and back up sensors. Hope this helps.

You should get one of those new Rangers or an explorer if you have issues driving bigger vehicles.

I would go for a Tacoma TRD Pro if I were to go to a midsize, but I really am interested in the Raptor. I consider myself to be a decent driver, but it's always nice to get opinions of current owners.
