Found some info about the OE driveshaft:

The OE shaft is pressed together and very thin wall tubing and is prone to twisting and breakage. Also the OE shafts we have seen to be poorly balanced with weights all over them. Ours are heavy wall tubing with HD spicer joints and Hi-Speed balanced as well as being welded together rather than the pressed one from the factory. Lastly our Retail price is not much more than the OE shaft which also make it attractive.

•pressed together & very thin wall

A 1480 is a large u-joint.

It's a super beefy drive shaft with huge thick yokes to take that kind of
Power he's putting out! I'm not sure if the drive shaft he had was a stick raptor one but it definitely didn't have enough to Handle it!
