How hard is it to raise the amps in each one of the switches? After two blown fuses trying to run lights I'm ready to raise them all as high as I safely can.

I would imagine the wires would need to be a little bit bigger. That would be pretty involved considering the wires for the up fitters are not individual, they are part of the whole wiring harness. Send Noah at the car stereo company and PM. He can chime in on this

Are you sure the amps being draw is what is causing the fuse to blow? It may be another issue.
Describe what's going on so we can help.
Lights and what switch and how you wired them.

here, on frf
do not raise the fuse amperage. a standard (true) 18ga can handle 20amps of current. anything higher will melt the wires. i have had several occasions where people have brought their vehicle in because of things not working right. it turns out that they put higher amperage fuses thinking it was ok. the end result turned out to be a wire harness replacement. it is not cheap to fix. melted wires can melt the whole length of the wire resulting in multiple wires being melted together and touching causing a short. if more current is needed, use relays instead. the most expensive wire harness replacement i have seen was over $9,000 because of the amount of work that was necessary to replace the harness. and the harness is only obtained from the vehicle manufacturer. it was a $2,500 main harness and several computer replacements. pretty much totaled the vehicle

Really try using a relay if your having trouble with blown fuses... Amps X Volts = watts

If you have a light drawing 10 amps and your 13.6 volts 136.0 watts I don't know of many lights that advertise that wattage...

I'd also like to know what you're using the switches for. The AUX1 and AUX2 switches alone can each nearly power two 40" Rigid light bars. So even if you're running four 40" light bars on AUX 1 and 2, you still have AUX3 and AUX4 and I don't know anybody running that much light. I'm with the others in thinking that you might have an issue other than the amperage draw of the lights blowing your fuses.

This is what I think my issue is. My 40 was hooked up to aux 4 and it blew. The amp draw is so weak on aux 4 what are people using number 4 for?
