We saw this come up on woot a few weeks ago, but this scared us off... I haven't researched if it was just this model with the issue... But I'm leaning toward diono so I can fit 3 across.

For 25+lbs and forward facing I don't think you can get much better than the britax frontier 90 with the clicktight. Its crazy how easy it is to buckle a toddler up and even easier to mount into the vehicle. We have now bought 3 of them, one for the truck, one for her van and one for gramma. As soon as the twins are big enough we will be buying more. I'm going to have a small fortune in car seats lol

those of you with the recaro did you have any issue with the top tehter being too long? It seems like it does not work with the rear middle seat

Go through the rear middle loop but anchor/latch to one of the side loops.

I'm at Wal-Mart now... Looks like there is a recall on that seat. Looks like it's the pro-ride and performance ride models.
