can I keep stock suspension/ride height with after market wheels/tires?

Dear Raptor gurus,

I have a stock 2020 Raptor, and I am looking to get a more aggressive stance, without (ideally) leveling or lifting. I love the stock ride height and rake and prefer not to tamper with what Ford came up with. According to most of the people I follow on insta and from what I've read, in order to clear a tire with more poke than the stock rims, a 2" + level is suggested. I am looking at the Fuel Zephyr 18x9 with -12 offset, ideally with 35x12.5 tires. Are there any wheels out there that can afford more poke than stock (slightly out of the fender, like 1-2") that don't require leveling/lifting? Thanks much.

First off, you don't want to get a typical lift on a Raptor, as you will mess up the suspension. You can get different springs and leaves to raise it a bit, but do not do a lift kit.

Second, there are several tire vendors on here that give you good recomendations for wheels that will work without any other modifications. I used @Nick@ApolloOptics and couldn't be happier with my wheels. Black Rhino Abrams with a 0 offset I believe. No rubbing, and aggressive enough for me. 1-2" away from vendor is going to be quite a bit, as the wheel is already tucked in pretty good.

Here's a long thread but a lot of discussion on wheels with different offsets especially negative.

Post number 62 in that thread has a guy with -18 offset. I think the stock 2020 height will allow you to get away with -12 or -18s etc with minimal rubbing on the street. They'll rub with articulation though if you go off road.

I just put some Fuel Couplers 20x12 on my stock 2018. -18 offset vs the stock +44 offset. The put some Nitto 305s on them. End result is I went from a flush set up to a nice 2.5" poke. Not over the top but juuuust right.

Derek - What lift/level are you running? Any rubbing on street? Nice rig!
Thanks. That's the beauty of my setup--no lift and no front leveling kit needed at all. All suspension remains stock. No rubbing introduced--even at extreme turns. The Nittos are amazingly quiet with regard to road hum also.
