The shackes will not touch when suspension is drooped or extended , shackles pivot forward. They touch leaf under compression pivot backwards. I see the shackles in the box, pop them onto the leaf you will see its going to touch that half wrap 2nd leaf around the eye, stock shackles are open on front, not boxed in like camburgs.

Are we talking about full compression when they touch, half way or even with normal driving compression when leafs are working? I still have time unit Friday before installing them in case I want to return it.

Compression , Mine touched just sitting in driveway with full weight 2 spares and chase rack , that's why I went to the extended length shackles have about 3/4 inch between leaf and boxed in metal , hasn't hit yet but i don't know about a big hit. Gen 1 .

I guess I will stick with Factory Shackles. I dont need extanded ones because I am using Icons on Option 1 which will give me only 1" lift over stock. I am wondering if I can use at least Camburg bushings which came with their shackles on OEM Shackles since they are better then stock? Just really confusing because some people claiming they work fine on Gen2 Raptor you guys saying they hit even sitting in the driveway?

I will. Couple people with Gen2 Raptors have them on with Icon Leaf Springs and they are not noticing any single issue with them hitting the leafs.

icon uses a different military wrap to their springs than deaver.

any company making shackles has generally redesigned their shackles to work with the icon springs.

depending on how long ago you purchased the shackles, there is a high probability that they are the redesigned version that will work just fine.

Extended length shackles have PLENTY of their own drawbacks. I wont go into that.

you cannot use the camburg bushings in the factory shackles. The factory shackles are cheaply made with non-replaceable bushings that are injected into the shackle, not so different than muscle car motor mounts.

Zombie What are the drawbacks of extended length shackles ? I know they can lengthen your suspension droop and soften up your spring rate. I have my icons leafs configuration 3 with leaf added basically stiffest and truck rides very smooth. I wanted it tad lower in rear, pic is with stock shackles , fully loaded in back

One more question are the new skackles go on both sides same as the picture shows meaning they face the leaf spring with this angle in the arms? Or one side goes as shown the other bend arms facing rear?

After installation of Camburg Stock Lenght Shackles with Icon Leaf Springs on Option 1 on 2019 I can definitely say that leaf will hit the shackle under even little compression. As the truck sits right now just on the driveway without anything inside the bed bottom of the leaf coming from the eyelid is almost touching the box of the shackle as picture shows. You can even put small finger in between.
