How about unbolting lower shock bolts from axle and get more droop. Maybe its enough to pivot shackles forward and get upper shackle bolts out under the frame rail . Be sure you don't stretch your brake lines to much. Post some picture of your shackles if you have chance way truck sits now

It's un possible to do this with deaver springs on a gen 2 without removing the spring entirely but I'm glad you were able to do it on your gen 1.

I did mine without removing the springs (deaver +3). Just unbolt the bed. There is only 6 bolts. It gives you the room to slide the bolt out over the top of the frame rail. I just let the truck down (slowly) with the shackles unbolted. It pushes up on the bed slightly until you have the clearance needed to remove the bolts.
