I really wish that they would have come out with their own spindle instead of using the stocker.

The stock ones like to crack or bend. might not be a terrible idea to grab a set of gen1 spindles, have them gusseted and install them with the kit. Or maybe opt for the ADD spindles.

jerry is very adamant that it’s not needed on Instagram. But I’m with you, plus they could have changed the vertical uniballs to horizontals like the svc kit at the same time.

7k seems a lil pricy for uppers/lowers and axles/tie rods. The bump system is an add on from my understanding. In the end your gonna be 15k with shocks easy.

Looks like the price is actually not too bad. emailed Jerry and got the information below back from him.

Looks like total cost would be $6000 for first month (into price), then $7000. Need to buy bumps at $600, Coilovers at $3000 roughly, and bypasses at $2000 max. So total cost of $11,600. Fairly competitive then, and could be done in stages. They say 15-16in of travel, I wonder what it really cycles being only 1.5" wider, not 2" like SVC and 3" like RPG.

That price includes.

1) Upper and lower arms
2) 4340 axles
3) bypass shock mounts
4) relocation brackets
5) bumpstop setup (not including bumpstops)




Increased track-width 1.5″ per side (3″ wider total)
Front wheel position is pushed forward 1″ for added tire clearance at firewall to eliminate/minimize rubbing/trimming.
Designed for 37″ tires.
Boxed lower arms with 1″ uniball pivots at the frame. Tabbed for secondary bypass shock.
Bolt on aluminum skid plates for lower control arms.
Billet upper arm with 7/8 heims at the frame and a large 1.50 uniball at the spindle/knuckle.
17-4 stainless heim steering conversion outer tie rod that corrects bumpsteer geometry utilizing the factory inner tie rod for rack longevity.
Designed to use the OEM coilovers or 3.0 aftermarket coilovers
Designed to use a specific 3.5 bypass shock for increased bottoming control and progression.
Heat-treated 4340 extended length front axle shafts with new CV boot clamps.
Optional weld-on bypass frame mount.
Optional FOX 2.5 bump stop kit.
Designed to use aftermarket fiberglass front fenders (2-2.5″ flare). We recommend ADV, Fiberwerx or SDHQ.

Talked to Camburg today. they are shooting for January 1st or thereabouts for the initial release. If you order by then you’ll get the reduced intro price. It will be more pricey after that.
They tested using 37” tires. Even though the arms push the wheel forward 1”, the tires clear the headlights OK. They said they didn’t have to trim the rear wheel well/pinch weld area.

I have yet to see a gen 2 mid-travel kit that requires any sort of brace of firewall/pinch weld modification. You do need fenders with all of them.

You will only run into headlight clearance issues if you set your ride height arbitrarily low, you go taller than 37" or potentially if you stuff a tire while turning moderately.

The bigger the tire, the more needs to be cut out. To get the 40s on my truck, TMX even had to relocate the washer fluid reservoir.

I am not-so-patiently waiting for a gen2 one-piece front end to come out so that I can lower the front ride height of my truck to where I'd like it to be. Without a one-piece front end, even a 37 has the potential to eject a headlight in the right situation.

I wish the suspension designers would have kicked things forward 1/2" instead of an inch. If they had, 40s would fit at a decent ride height with 3 piece glass.

I definitely want the +2 / +2 fenders for sure.

ZK how feasible would it be to custom make the spacers where the heim joints attach to the frame - instead of same length front to back, have them longer on one side than the other. 1/2" might be a little to much to ask though
