Curious, on the cam phaser fix. Where have you found the Gen3's to have updated cam phasers? I have searched around and can't find much info on that particular subject.
It probably won't be mentioned on the gen 3's as the cam phasers were updated on the gen 2. I don't remember the exact date, but I know who does, lol. @FordTechOne

The redesigned parts and new calibration were implemented 11/19, which was still 2020 model year. So 2021 models are not affected.

Thanks guys! This was exactly the type of info I was hoping to read. Heavily looking at joining the Gen3 crowd if I can eventually order a 22' model this decade without a 3 kidney ADM.

Also, if the sunroof SEALS were properly maintained (cleaned, lubricated etc.) it would result in 99.9% of the sunroof issues being resolved. Ford should REALLY make this part of the maintenance schedule.
disagree. i actually clean and lube ours (2019) and its hot, noisy garbage. rattles when hot, makes a cracking noise when the chassis flexes, and the retractable shade makes all sorts of horrible noises when retracting or closing. just had that replaced under warranty and the new is even worse. worst ******* sunroof i have ever had. i'd bet good money that a sunroof in a 30 year old lexus is still better than this trash. goes without saying that i did not order one on my truck this go around.

Never experienced that on any of of the multiple recent Ford vehicles I've had with panoramic roofs, never mind ones that were properly lubricated. "Lexus" (overpriced rebadged toyota with a made up name) never had a panoramic roof opening 30 years ago, nor does Toyota offer one on their current trucks, so your reference is irrelevant.

Hey FordTech, what’s a good lubricant to use on the moonroof?
