I’m not the guy ordering parts.Why wouldn’t it?
You do understand that updated parts means the older part is no longer available and unable to be ordered and that even if they did try and order the old part, they couldn’t and it would reference the new part number in the system right?I’m not the guy ordering parts.
You will now get the updated parts should be rock solid after this2017 going back in for phasers again first was Oct 2018 16k miles now at 38k

Agreed - I went through same process, or at least my truck has. Original owner fought rev1 cam phasers for a long while and really never got resolved. I bought my truck a year ago, had phasers replaced in March with rev2 of the part and the truck is solid. I know this repair probably seems scary for some, but I think for many service centers this is really become no big deal and routine.You will now get the updated parts should be rock solid after this
