Fix it and be done with it, super basic for them. Mine has been good since.

Thanks. Did they replace all phasers at once for your truck? Did you notice any performance difference at all once you got the truck back?

I'm worried about breaking the factory fresh seal. In the past with work like this on other vehicles it never feels quote the same.

Ask to talk to the tech doing it and hint at a tip for doing an extra good job ;) I mean sometimes finding out if you got someone good to work on it helps. No guarantee and I know the motor is ******.

Has anyone seen a drop in fuel economy since their cam phaser fix? Whether it was the new phasers, new brakes, winter blend fuel or whatever, I now have a 30% drop in fuel economy.

I had to change my vote from No to yes.
In addition to being without my Raptor for at least a week is the fact that Groove Ford in Denver claims they have a week wait for any loaner cars. WTF? I brought my truck back to the dealer I bought it from so I could get a loaner. They didn’t mention that crap even once when I booked the appointment.

I know my dealer lets it slide if I don't specifically ask if they will have a loaner for me. As long as I make a point to tell them I need a loaner, they have had one for me.

30% ??? That’s huge.

I am pretty sure I had a drop in fuel economy BEFORE my phaser fix. I was down to 14-ish mpg and had been upper 15s before.
After phasers I am back up into 15s. I kind of think it could be the belt replacement more than the phasers though. That was done as part of the fix.
