Well I removed mine when I installed the AP CAI, so we will see, Truck feels great driving it so.. I mean I know they are there for a reason, guess we will see.. any info out there as to state removing them cause's damage or loss of power besides the dyno graft of back to back to back runs on a dyno, which we have no data on?

I removed mine when the truck had a little over 300 miles on it. I now have nearly 14K miles on my ‘18 with absolutely no issues. I jdid notice a big increase in sound personally.

My wife even noticed the truck seemed quieter when I put them back in to do some comparisons.

I installed the Roush aftermarket open airbox with aftermarket air filter on my '17 Raptor and they specifically state to keep the ''Swirlers'' in place. thumbnail (1).jpg

Haven’t you all seen the adds in the 90s with the turbines in the intake to increase power and economy? Kind of what this reminds me of. That being said I left mine on... with the Cobb CAI and tune I have obtained 30mpg economy combined and 600hp. Ok, jk on the fuel economy part.
