2012 raptor. One of the three led lights doesn't work, also has mildew in bottom crevices. Dealer wants $442 for the whole assembly. Anyone try to repair or replace leds or assembly without spending $$$.
wow these prices skyrocketed. i tried blacking mine out when i first bought in 2014, wasnt happy with the result and bought one from tasca, for about $100 bucks i think, just looked it up tasca price $307 and change HIGH MOUNTED STOP LAMP for 2014 Ford F-150
i would call and make sure it is the right one, when i bought mine there was a difference for the hill descent equipped
Yup, price has more than tripled in a year and that ************* isn't worth $130 much less $450. I had one replaced under warranty about 3 weeks ago and the new one already has an LED going bad.
Raven, it's $318 on quirkparts. One would think the LEDs would outlast the incandescent bulbs that are still working. i'm not ready to part with that kind of $$$ if it's just going to happen again. Perhaps the standard f150 third brake light assembly could be adapted? It's only around $120 I think from dealer probably less elsewhere.
Damn, can't believe it tripled in price in two months. I would consider an aftermarket light with smoke lens instead. Most cops don't know marker lights on Raptors are for DOT compliance anyway.
