CA Discounted ESP Have a Dealer

Anyone know the law well? Does a warranty transfer to a CA owner if bought out of state and the vehicle then sold to someone in CA?

I'm not sure but I think if the vehicle already has a warranty on it, it stays with the vehicle. The is intended to stop the scam warranties from being sold, but in our legislative wisdom, we stopped all out is state warranties being sold, once again putting the screws to us.

So what's the big deal with Ford ext had warranty? Why not 3rd party? Or is they no local ca ext warranty company based out of ca?
