Not as much as my 4.0s, you're right though, were I live I wouldn't be able to tell the difference, but there have already been testimonies in here saying their 3.5 are running hot.

Not saying they don't for sure but my 3.5's got slightly warm after over an hour of passes through Barstow mains big whoops. We beat the living shit out of the truck that day.
