Just saw that you're in MI. That helps a ton I'm sure.Just spoke with my dealer and he said the truck should be there by the 27th.YES!
I might have asked this but can't remember- did you get a rail car number? My dealer is able to pinpoint the location of my truck as it passes junctions.Y'all in the OG 10/24 build week that are moving ahead 'In Transit'... does your sticker have the security pack removal added? I see later builds (Nov.+) have it on sticker. Still no luck with mine... stuck In Transit/Shipped for 25 days. No updates... nothing. But trying to narrow it down by analyzing data, etc. myself.
Only things deleted on ours is stop/start (yay), and heated steering wheel (boo). Hoping to add the heated steering wheel at a later date because it's a nice feature here in Michigan's U.P.Y'all in the OG 10/24 build week that are moving ahead 'In Transit'... does your sticker have the security pack removal added? Just cause your in Michigan means nothing “blend date” 8/23, “built date” 11/15, STILL waiting to ship…..so Michigan….not so much.Just saw that you're in MI. That helps a ton I'm sure.
I wonder how long it takes to get to Louisiana. Seems like a few days but I assume every stop adds a day, plus a few days via truck, etc. Probably isn't a quick process.
No... not easy to get the dealer to move away from his system access, approach. He uses vehicle visibility through his inventory screen. But it appears to be adequate and current against other updates... but lacking specifics I am aware of that he is not and can't access or see. I do know I am and have been in this status; In Transit--Received--Ramp 46, Albany NY... since at most 11/3... which is the last update. ETA was 11/15-11/21. ETA has been 11/16-11/22 then 11/5-11/11 then to 11/15-11/21. FORD CS, FORD Marketing, Dealer all have that last status with a blank ETA disposition. FP has the word 'Hold' in ETA disposition. Ford marketing ( case manager) is now saying ETA is 11/25-12/1 but they looked through every status update and do not see a hold anywhere documented. Honestly, I just want to know why the ETA has jumped around 4 times and if no hold... why does it sit besides some trivial reason and what is the reason. I have also located the railyard and tried to contact them and also view the lot... but doesn't seem to be live and noone will speak to me. I have been keeping tabs on your plight... maybe your dealer can plug my vin and see more details... I am reaching obviously... anything more at this point will be useful. I basically sold my truck too soon is all and may need to buy vehicle before it arrives or I lose rate or need to apply again and am in analytics and my IT mind is blown by the availability of information... yet those who can and should access are lost... so I love digging into data.. but am stuck. Was told once I get shipped should be good... but its been put off for two weeks already. So I just keep seeking more logical explanations while I wait.I might have asked this but can't remember- did you get a rail car number? I don't have the security pack delete. I think it was started a week or two after ours.
Ok... yeah later builds hooked the security pack removal, as seen on sticker, and I thought maybe they held your build up for that, resolved it at plant... and sent it on its way. Was thinking maybe my truck snuck out and they want to address that delete somehow before arriving at dealer. But doesn't sound like it anymore.Only things deleted on ours is stop/start (yay), and heated steering wheel (boo). According to my dealer ours was built and moved off site for a period on "chip hold", which is apparently a generic term for still missing something. I was hoping all the while that the heated steering wheel removal would disappear on my window sticker. Our window sticker never changed other than it disappeared for a couple days. Truck is going to be delivered by rail to the dealership in green bay, WI. Hopefully it arrives on time, 11/27.Ok... yeah later builds hooked the security pack removal, as seen on sticker, and I thought maybe they held your build up for that, resolved it at plant... and sent it on its way.
