Absolutely sucks, the hell with trying to find it or track it down. If my truck gets stolen I wouldn't want it back.
Thanks man. I've never experienced anything like this before and I've lived in some urban areas, just didn't expect it at all.Sorry to hear about that. It sounds like you’re taking it better than I would’ve. Luckily I haven’t experienced any theft attempts on my Raptor here in Houston. Good luck getting everything settled with insurance, etc. I hope the thieves get what they deserve.

TL;DR: If you're near the southern border or any major cities I'd seriously consider having your lock cylinder removed from driver door or locking rod removed to disable the keyed entry. It is absolutely a joke how easy it is to break into these trucks.
How would you go about doing this?
Sorry to hear about your loss! If the key fob wasn't still in the truck they would not have been able to steal it without a code snatcher, I think. With the key fob in hand they have probably already shipped it overseas or driven it to Mexico to sell as a Brand New Raptor.
Is the stock Key FOB removed from the Truck and the 802A stock perimeter and tilt alarm enough to stop theft or are pro thiefs able to override the stock keyless start and alarm security system?
Glad you were able to get a new truck same day. Hope you get your money back on the stolen one.
Aloha, HT
I would still set up the app for the hell of it to see if it will track it. You never know. It might still be close
