I would love to hear some real world experience on the performance of aftermarket brakes.

Does size really matter?? Lol...

I put a BBK on my 2005 Hummer that sits on 40's, and it made a HUGE difference, especially when towing. But the change is size was significant. My front rotors are 16" and the rears are 15". The calipers are upgraded as well to six-pistons in the front and four in the rear.

I had always wondered how much of a difference brakes would make...now I know. One of the most noticeable differences I've ever made to a vehicle, and I've messed with a lot of them. However, I have to believe that this mod, like all others, is more noticeable when done more thoroughly. In other words, if you just change rotors and pads, the difference will not be as great as if you changed rotors, calipers, pads, lines, and fluids.

Overall though, I've been impressed with the stock brakes on the Raptor.

I had EBC sport rotors and Yellow pads on the front of mine, along with SDHQ SS lines. The pads and rotors definitely made a difference, but buyer beware. A metallic pad like that will go through rotors pretty quick. My pads looked great, and I was considering replacing the rotors because they were wearing so hard.

All in all, I'd definitely recommend the upgrade, major improvement.

Just put in an order for the R1Concept primium disks a set of pads.

Contacted Chris 'clkelley' and he really gives the guys on here an amazing deal. Stand up guy and a true professional. If you are looking at brake mods he is the guy to go to IMO.

Will post pics once they are here and I throw them on the truck.

Ordered the same setup from Chris as well. To reiterate, Chirs is a great guy and a pleasure to do business with. No sales gimmicks, just a great guy that knows what he is selling.

Can't wait to spend some time with him at HAVOC.

Silver are you going to install the brakes and pads yourself?

Yea I plan on doing it myself. Haven't done it before but cannot be the difficult. I can be the guinea pig for you if you want buddy. Or just meet up and knock em out on the same day with some beers involved of course.
