Trust me if I had the funds I would, I would love to throw in LS and Chevy transmission in it but just not possible at the moment, going to have it custom tuned by a very well known guy very soon

Warranty didn't cover it???

Didn't even bother with them, I was outside of the 60 k 5 year limit, figured they'd blame the intake, tune, or exhaust . plus my connect at ford left a few months back. This was probably the most cost friendly way to get it done and back on the road

So only 3K to install the motor?

I was quoted 8 grand to install my 6.6L long block because they have to take the cab off the frame.

Ford wanted a starting price of 3k to do the swap and 7K for a new engine. We are doing the swap in house, during our free time and late nights at the shop, hasn't been to bad so far
