I wouldn't be Afraid to mod it, I was hard on it and it caught up , there are plenty of guys out there who push these engines hard with no issues, there's a variety of things that engine has gone through that could have lead to the detonation. It will be back in no time!

I'd put a piece of round thick glass on the top of that thing and have that as your coffee table discussion piece. Just like they have on top gear with the V12. Only thing is is your has a hell of a story behind it.
