Getting familiar with FORscan

I’ve coded a lot of cars (Porsche/BMW/etc) and keep an old 2008 Dell w/Win7 just for this purpose.

If you want to give it a try, order the right cable first and get the right drivers. Make backups of everything first, then figure out which modules you want to recofig.

So far:
-Removed double honk with keys removed
-Lincoln style mirror folding (mirrors fold at lock, unfold at engine start)
-Added heated/cooling seats and steering wheel to sync
-Reset battery calibration (added new battery)
-Extended idle run time before shut off
-Extended radio time
-fake engine noise removed
-Secure Idle enabled

A couple underrated Forscan mods:
-Disable seatbelt minder chimes and disable "do-do-do" chime on startup. This results in a silent startup (as far as chimes go). I love it. I wear my seatbelt every time I drive, but the minders were awful. It's like it doesn't recognize that I want to start the truck AND THEN put on my seat belt.
-Adjust HSW module for steering wheel temp of your choice. Default is 88 F. I found that too hot, so I turned it down one notch.

Minor update.

Raptor alternators are out of stock and on national backorder. Which is awesome.

Used some down time to research a few things.

New additions to parts list:
-BBK 73mm Throttle Body
-SPD SS Catted Downpipes with Turbo Adapters (backorder about 4-6 weeks)
-Goose Tune
-Switched to Deaver +4HDs and RPG +2 Shackles (backorder about 4-6 weeks)

Ford can't be the only one to make these alternators I hope...

This worries me, all these backorders and mess.

Thanks to a super helpful user on here (@Alysium) - Looks like MechMan makes two upgraded versions - 320A & 370A

Was able to order a 370A that's in stock, really saved the day/week

Can you please show us a picture of the stance with the Eibach's up front and Deaver+4s in the back?
