Im looking at maybe a early February trip, like the 9th-12th... What we dont want is a date in the heat of the summer. Really, May-September are out, and beginning of Nov is out due to the Chili cookoff event they have out there. Gonna be a rough year schedule wise, but I will get the ball rolling.

No sweat Rick! The Feb dates are to do a dry run with one or two guinea pigs...I can do it with David out there (He is our co organizer and head Park science guy) but anyone else that wants to get away and check it out is invited. We will take what we learn on that trip and plot out the routes for the big run. Love to have you Trey! Im surprised no response from Ben yet, but I sent him a PM quite a while back and never heard a peep.. *shrug*

Depending on the date, I may stop through on my wife and my mini vacation to Baja.

Take a Lowrance GPS, mark the trail and good course notes. Tis what I was going to do. After what I've seen with the Outlaw Raptor Runs, I'd make it a requirement that everyone have a Lowrance GPS.

x1000 on Lowrances. They make offroading so much safer. I will have a .usr file of the Texana ranch available to everyone.
