Rather than give you guys a testimonial, I will allow the park to speak for itself.

These are tough roads in some places, once had 700 miles of trails, now the park allows about 150 miles of these to be travelled if you dare, 70 miles or so of places no one in their right mind would travel to....thats just up my alley!

In addition, there are some pretty fun trails in the national park and the old Terlingua ranch as well!

Anyone up for checking out old volcanoes and meteor craters no one ever visits cuz you cant drive there? LOL:peace:

I am going to be there in April before the Big Bend Open Road Race. Should plan it between the Texas Raptor Run and the BBORR ;)

I can't wait to check this out on my computer... that is something I'd be really into! So long as you would be willing to stop for photo ops! (Sunrise and sunset are most important)

Fall doesn't work with us. We have our yearly Terlingua event the first weekend of October. Next year will be year #5 of the event and year #4 with us running it. Dubbs and I plan on going down early and hopping into the state park but it is only for a day or two. The park is literally 2 minutes from our host hotel....Lajitas.

This sounds excellant ! I would only have a problem w/ the statement on page 5 referring to drivers w/ a H1/H2 " wide vehicles" .

I dont want to "pinstripe" the truck.

Pinstriping is just character marks, badges of honor! Embrace the pinstripes! Lol
