Mine are almost toasted at 20k. Going to replace them with Nitto trail or ridge grapplers... havent made a decision yet. Had an old diesel with trail grapplers that lasted 45k miles of abuse. My 13 f150 had ridge grapplers that went for 37k until I traded it in and was extremely impressed by road noise/ ride quality. Current ko2s have been babied, 38psi, rotated regularly with mostly highway miles and they're shot. I do a good bit of off roading during hunting season but cant imagine low speeds down abandoned roads through mud would destroy the tread more than hot pavement. Dealer installs are almost always cheapest option. They gotta make their profits somewhere.

i did a tire comparison test for a tire manufacturer a couple years ago. the bfg do not last long. of the 3 different brand of tires i ran, the ko2 only lasted me 4 weeks.
So, out of curiosity, what were the other brands, and how did they fare? Are you not allowed to divulge that information, or are you just trying to keep us all in suspense? :)

The Ko2 with the E load range is a heavy duty tire. To get maximum tread wear u cant have less than 55 psi in them. A friend from my work actually talked to someone in BF Goodrich about this and that is what he was told. He and I run ours at 55 psi and I currently have 50,000 miles on my set and still have life in them. It does give a stiff ride but last long time

They just don’t last... ran 3 sets of E-Rated on my 2015 F-150. 5-10% city, 70-75% highway, the rest Offroad and granted I was hard on them. I had 3 or 4 flats from different items and a stick poke through the sidewall on my 2nd set (replaced 50% under warranty). The longest I could get out of a set was right around 42K on my second set if I remember correctly and they had to be ran near max pressure and they rode awful. First set was gone (and I mean way bald) in 20K, replaced at 25K and the third set we’re close to being done around 28K when I traded the truck in. I won’t touch a set of them again. Yokohama X-AT’s (my dad runs them, Super quiet and good in the rain) or Falken AT-3W’s only. Won’t touch a Toyo or Nitto again either.

This thread amazes me but I’m easily amazed I guess. I just turned 23k miles on my KO2 on my 19 Raptor and unless I’m Stevie Wonder, they look nearly brand new. They’ve been good in wet, snow, dry, Moab, NYC potholes, you name it.

I do love the look of Nito RG but am a bit scared off by all the comments I’ve read re how heavy they are. I doubt I’d notice though.

Mine are at 47k and will probably won't get to 2/32 before 55k. I run 40 psi and rotate every 5k. Hard to see how I need to change but was looking at ridge grapplers. I just don't like weight of those, but not sure if I'd notice the difference.
