Am I crazy for wanting to purchase a high mileage gen 3?

Problem w/ a used raptor is the suspension. 65k miles it’s shot. In the very least you’ll have to figure on spending $2500-$3000 or so refreshing it….im
Not even sure gen3 shocks are available for core rebuild swaps yet?

I've seen some places offer 35 package shock swaps.
But nothing listed online for 37PP shocks.

I bought cpo gold 22 with 39k miles on it. $67k. These engines are bulletproof if cared for. only issue with the 22 is it still has the old CDF drum trans. 10R80 transmission can fail. Happened to my 2019 f150 3.5eb. $12k repair job.

I just got a 2022 37"PP with 45k miles and torsens for $62k. The only options it doesn't have are the carbon fiber and 2kwh pro-power. Put an extended factory warranty on it for 8yrs/125,000 miles.

Quite the difference from my 2011 200k mile XLT.

Congrats.

Nice upgrade. Just try to avoid the mod bug before it becomes terminal lol.
