I was getting ready to buy the retraxpro but that canister is about 12" deep. With an inside bed height of <22", I won't be able to slide my wildereness experience tarpon 120 underneath it (sidewall is 13") and the kayak is just over 12' long so it would be sticking out another foot.

has anybody used the American Roll Cover? https://www.truckcoversusa.com/american-roll-cover/

I noticed how similar some of the tonneau companies web sites are.

turns out Truck Hero Inc. owns a bunch of tonneau cover companies/products marketed under different names: A.R.E., BAK, Extang, Husky, Retrax, Roll-N-Lock, TruXedo, Undercover and online retailer RealTruck.

Plus some other products labeled as Advantage Truck Accessories, Alloy USA, AMP Research, , Auto Ventshade, BACKRACK, BedRug, Belmor, Bushwacker, LUND, N‐FAB, OMIX, Rampage Products, , RoadWorks,, Rugged Liner, Rugged Ridge, Stampede, Superlift, Tonno Pro

I ordered a bak revolver x4s after realizing the retrax XR canister takes up so much room. I also installed the decked drawer slider and am pretty happy with it! Good for organization and the drawers operate very smoothly even loaded down with some gear.

Bak revolver x4s. I wanted a cover I can operate easily without jumping into the bed of the truck. I've had tri folds for the last 12 years and I'm tired of them.

Anyone have experience w/ Renegade covers? Similar to Diamondback but maybe better?
just looked around on their website. Pretty neat cover, but I spent 15 minutes on there trying to find the weight, I don't see it listed. Would this essentially be a 140lb tri-fold? If that's the case no thanks lol even if it does have the cool t-slot system

think I will get the Undercover Armor Flex tri-fold. i also like it is flushmount and can remain closed when I use the power tailgate. had a tri-fold years ago and liked it alot. Using a truxedo lopro on my 2007 tundra. it works great and is very weathertight. I live in NW MT so snow, heavy rain - no water at all and no drain tube required but zero security. security not an issue around here but when doing a road trip to a more populous place, would not be comfortable leaving anything in the truck bed with truxedo. FYI - still waiting for my White37 to bebuilt so pics once I get the truck & cover

Has anyone personally moved a bakflip mx4 from a 2017-2020 over to a new 2021? Does it fit correctly? part number has changed but it appears its all the same.

Love my aluminum retrax. Minus losing a bit of space, I love how it easy to use.
