Best Raptor R (5.2 V8) Oil and Oil Filter

I have a 2020 GT500 with the same engine and I only run factory fill and oil filter. I know others run different stuff, but in all honesty the factory oil & filter is perfectly fine and probably the best option, especially for warranty claims. That alone makes me feel safer than using another brand that is not really any better than the factory dino juice anyway.

AMS oil has it. I just ordered some for mine

I just spoke with Mobil CS. We could not match fords spec to any 5-50 oil. They have two that are in 5W-50 but he would not recommend one. He said Ford is driving everyone to use Ford’s oil. At this time, he said Ford could deny warranty claims if you don’t use the right spec of oil. What BS Ford!! He also stated his 5W-50 oils like most others 5W50 oil are high in zinc which can damage cats if it’s too high.

I Buy the factory fill outside of Ford and do the oil change myself. been doing this for 35 years and don’t see the problem. It’s less expensive than many other choices as well.

Also, I did my first AMSOIL change while I was traveling up in Canada for vacation. Decided to book the oil change at a Ford dealership and they used my AMSOIL I had brought with me. Therefore it is on record that Ford dealership used my AMSOIL for the change and they didn’t say anything about it.

What are some of the actual part numbers for the available Raptor R oil filters?
For some reason I’m having trouble seeing part descriptions actually indicating they are for the Raptor R engine.

I asked about oil filter to ford performance, and a parts website. they both said same thing. This was what I asked, and this was the response from Ford Performance.
