Any update on the ebay ones DE8T-1A180-AA?
Did it all work out for you guys?

My rims/wheels should be here today. Hoping there is already TPMS sensors in them but if not I think I will purchase this way. Tire shop wanted 300+ for sensors and install. Not a chance.

I installed the eBay DE8T-1A180-AA ones and everything worked just fine. They automatically connected and no reprogramming was required. My truck is a 2012.

Great thanks. Now just to figure out how to get them in there without spending my light money. :)

My '12 never liked the generic sensors, would always trip sensors. DiscTire got me Ford sensors for $50ea, well worth no more hassles and not having to hunt them elsewhere.

I bought mines on Amazon, Dorman product. Metal Valves, excellent quality, way better than OEM, had to program them into the vehicles computer, very easy to do 5 min. job. Works on aftermarket as well as factory wheels.
Price was around $35 for all 4 sensors.

I had bought a set of factory OEM sensors off of eBay and has been a year, still working fine.

Is there anything wrong with not running sensor in spare if I am going to rotate it in with other ones

The sensors need to be rotating at above 20mph for them to work correctly. So, you would throw a code if the spare (with the TPMS) was not rotating.

When you rotate the spare into a working tire, you'll get the low tire pressure light since only the of the four sensors will be detected. As stated above, the TPMS needs to be rotating for the computer to read it

Do you have a link to which ones you bought?
