Your 2012 must be different than my 2010. I don't have to retrain mine when I do at tire rotation.

I don't have to retrain them, but I do so if it flags a sensor as low pressure, I know it's flagging the tire that's actually low. If you don't retrain and you rotate, if your front left is reading low, but it was trained as the back right before you rotated, the computer will tell you your back right is low, even though its the front left.

IC thats probably due to the 2010 not telling me which tire just has a dummy light. So does this show up on the LCD screen?

I bought mine on eBay, a new set of factory take out sensors and bought for a crazy cheap price. That was back in the spring, works great.

Unless I have not figured it out yet, my 12 does not tell me which tire, just the light comes on and tells me to check them.

I've never had mine go off, so I don't know if it'll tell me which one, but when you train the tires it tells you to do front left, then front right, then rear right, then rear left, so it knows which tire is on which corner.

May not be necessary to retrain every time, but it takes me all of 2 minutes, gives me an excuse to check the pressure anyway, and doesn't hurt anything by being thorough.

Back on the original topic, anybody have specific links to where they ordered from? All I have so far is the one above where they're $50 a pop. I need to order first thing in the morning to get them here in time to sell my stock wheels to a tentative buyer.

I am in the process of doing the EXACT same thing on my 2013 SCREW. Went down to NAPA and got the Ford TPMS sensors for $40/tire. The goodyear tire dealer will put the new TPMS sensors on for me free of charge.

FYI within a week will have 4 like new (less than 100 miles) 2013 wheels & tires for sale (not beadlock). In Boise, ID if anyone is interested.

THANK YOU!!!!

I'll call the dealer today for a price, but otherwise I'll stop by NAPA and get a set locally. Their prices shouldn't vary that much amonst other NAPAs, so that sounds like the easiest path forward.

Thanks!

This is the guy I bought mine from and they work great. He is in Ohio. Under $50 for all four and that includes shipping. If the below link does not work, I think you can just copy and paste it in your browser.

Thanks. That's a great price. Now to figure out what's different with the part numbers.

The link towerhog posted said they're 9L3Z1A189A. Your ebay link says they're DE8T-1A180-AA or 9L3T-1A180-A or CM5T-1A180-AA lol. Wonder if they trigger at different pressures or something?

Well I bought the ebay ones. Did some searching and found a lot of other threads where cars called for the one originally posted, but guys got those ebay ones, and they worked just the same. For 1/4 the cost I couldn't pass it up. I'll give them a shot. Worst case, I'm out $50 and I have to get a set of OEM ones, if they don't work I'll probably just live with the light till I'm due for tires lol
