Best lift/level options- collars & deavers?

I know this has been beaten to death a bit on the forum, but looking for “best” way to level and lift my 2019 Raptor. I have a retractable bed liner which adds some weight and leaves my front height at 40.25” and rear height at 41.25” stock. I’d like to get both front and rear to about 42.5” or so. Is best option the front collars and rear deavers? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Yes on the shock adjustments and Deaver or Icon springs. No lift kits. Ever. That's for Posers.

I installed Eibach springs on mine week ago and it leveled perfectly. I would do that instead of collars. As for the rear mine is level now but icons option 1 are in my future maybe with drop shackles to keep it level.

Edit: only thing in my bed is a Lomax cover and a bed rug

Eibachs eibachs eibachs. Fantastic springs at a great price. I vouch for them. They will level your 2019.

What are the advantages of going Eibachs instead of collars??

I believe you won't lose any travel with the springs where you may with the collars.


Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the difference.

I guess collars will only put additional tension on the spring so shock travel length might NOT be affected.

I'm getting ready to install some Geyser Bros progressive springs on my Gen 1. The ride is pretty amazing, and will give you a safe couple inches of lift. Collars are really not the best way to go IMO, but I know a lot of people use them successfully. I hit the trails pretty hard, so the springs made more sense to me. Eibachs will ride stiffer than Geiser Bros, and collars will be stiffer as well because they increase preload, like going to mid-perch I believe. Collars are different than hat spacers. Hat spacers are BAD.

Won't the Geisers give you a little more lift than the Eibachs because they are longer?

That's correct. Eibachs are linear, Geysers are progressive. On the Gen 2s that may be the case. I think the Geysers give more than 2" on the Gen 2s. On my Gen 1 I'll get less than 2 inches of lift unless I go to mid-perch. The longer spring doesn't necessarily mean it will give more lift though. Spring rate also matters.

I have been running 2.25" collars on my SCrew and have no complaints with it. Seemed to level it out perfectly and as far as ride quality went, I am not sure i noticed a difference. I also went to 37" K02's at the time as well, so I suppose that could be why. But was very happy with them, would buy again. Really helped me from hitting the skid plate while off-roading
