Any suggestions? Have a 2018 SCREW. Are the K&N cabin air filters really superior and worth it?

And what about the engine air filter? Put one in both my 2014 Lariat and 2015 Expedition, and didn’t necessarily notice a difference in power or fuel efficiency.

Thanks for the recommendations!

Motorcraft for both - best fit an best quality.

I’ve had K&N in other vehicles - oiling and cleaning total pain in the a$$. I think that they just don’t have the filtering ability and get clogged in dusty conditions.

Motorcraft air filter is best IMO - I believe the filter medium is oiled.

For a cabin air filter, I got the PureFlow. I purchased two to get free shipping. They are better and less than Motorcraft ones.

For the engine air box, I’ve always used Motorcraft. Off-roading they get dirty quickly so they are cheap to change out

1 week of off-roading in Baja compared to new when I changed it in Cabo. Top one was brand new when crossing the border

I use a Carbonized air cabin filter from Amazon that matches the oem part number. Not sure on the brand, but it works great. Zero mildew smell. For the air filter I use a AEM 7 layer dry filter. Has that K&N look, but it's 7 layers and dry.

My mistake. AFE Pro Dry 7 air filter. Not AEM.
