Jack, I'd love to join you, but I've been going to Ocotillo for about 20 years now. Halloween is the soonest I would venture out there. I went once in early October and it was still to damned hot. I spent a good portion of the trip napping in my pickup truck under the bridge near the Blue Inn, with the AC on full blast. My Ocotillo range is Halloween to about mid April. I just can't stand the heat. I'm just too damned old and fat.

Yeah, the weather looks like it'll be pretty reasonable this weekend. I was just out in Palm Springs playing golf a couple weeks back and it was 85-90 and when you go out expecting 105-110, 85-90 feels great. Unfortunately, I can't go to Ocotillo this weekend.
