I got one early on, cost was $1700 for 6 years, 125K. I'm putting on the miles now. I'm only at 41K and haven't had to use it (knock on wood). I think its a good piece of mind unless you have plans on getting rid of the vehicle soon.
Yep important thing to know is that I got mine for around 1800 as well. Its probably 500 more by now so i could understand hesitation.

There are vastly different levels of coverage, different deductibles, and add-ons, so saying "I got X miles for X dollars" doesn't really mean squat.

It varies based upon
1) When you bought the warranty in realtion to the in-service date, and the mileage at the time of warranty purchase.
2) What warranty package you bought - BasicCARE etc.
3) What deductible you chose.
4) Add ons- coverage for lights, keys, rentals, etc.
5) The vehicle itself.

Hey, so I got my '19 Raptor three years ago, right in the middle of the pandemic when prices were insane. I wrestled with the extended warranty, everyone told me I was getting ripped off, but I got it anyway. And guess what? The day after I bought it, the turbos blew – warranty! Four months later, the seat electronics crapped out – warranty! Early on, it was a no-brainer. Now, three years later, it's in the shop for an emissions sensor, and the back electrical plug's been acting up – BOOM, extended warranty again! I've had tons more stuff fixed, too. Seriously, this thing's saved me thousands between labor and parts. It was a lot of tech, so I figured it was worth it. It's been a lifesaver, even including rental cars when it's in the shop. Sometimes the risk pays off, but I've definitely had bad warranty experiences before. Hope this helps! Aloha!
I'm a first time owner just purchased May 2024, 2019 57K. I'm now at 65K and I'm looking into warranty after reading on almost every thread of owners horror stories. Your share is encouraging knowing that warranty does help save. I was looking into granger extended warranty but their site just updated which does not cover 2019s anymore. I thought I was loosing my mind because just last week the site showed coverage! So I called and they said the cut off date was this past Monday! Now I'm looking into lombard, which coverage seems equal to granger but it's a little bit more money.
Would anyone recommend another extended warranty?

I bought my raptor with 43,000 miles, the previous owner had a fidelity extended warranty. I thought warranties are BS, but it cost me $30 to transfer into my name, so why not.

Since then, I have had cam phasers, a completely new radio/screen, and a transmission overhaul all completed through the warranty through the warranty with $100 deductible each time. I'll never own a newer vehicle without it.

February 2020 build just crossed 70,000 miles. I picked up the 7yr/100k / $0 deductible from Flood Ford for $1920 in June of 2020. It paid for itself and then some. I drive confidently knowing that if something comes up it's getting dropped at the dealer and I'm leaving in a loaner. My last round of warranty work for was the 360 camera system being on the fritz. Ended up needing a camera, module and the interior camera selector button. With labor, I think this was close to $800/$900. It's covered various other things since going past the 3/36.
