Have you taken the strap back off? My strap snapped and the gap reappeared.

Nope and I wont until a brace goes in or I need to load a bike or something. I'm guessing your going to have to bend it past where you want it to rest unsupported to get it to properly aline. I'm waiting for the brace cuz I dont want to fatigue the metal by bending it back and forth a bunch of times.

I have not. I think the dealer would take one look at the frame brace and deny. I'm taking mine in tomorrow to have a wire loom replaced I guess I'll bring it up with them.

I had similar thoughts, plus I have had bad luck with my local dealer in general.

So I'm getting the feeling that people without Stage 3's aren't having this issue cuz noone has chimed in. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad it's in there or I'd probably have a bent frame right now. I'm just wondering if we're shifting forces to difference parts of the truck by stiffening others.
