Note: I am not aware of any bed changes from 2011 on. Not sure why Ford would see the need to change it mid run.

Plus, i'm sure the Raptor bed is the same as the normal F-150 bed, except the Raptor emblem...I'm sure it's all the same, 2010 to present, Raptor to F-150.

I'm still sticking with my theory of the tailgate shrinking...

I have done some insane flexing with my truck with my Bakflip F1 on and never had an issue EVER.

My truck sits on this at carshows all day. It is the max height that the suspension can handle while keeping all 4 tires on the ground. Never had an issue. The tailgate even opens and closes normal.

How tall is that stand and did you make it? So if you go any higher you start to lift a wheel? Prove it :)

I'd still like to hear from more people that have this issue without a frame reinforcement kit of some kind. I'm curious if there's a connection.

I just went out and put a ratchet ******** mine as tight as I could get it. It seems to have re-aligned the driver's side (which wasn't far off to start with) but not quite the passenger side. I left it on there for overnight we'll see what it looks like in the morning.

Here is my theory:
How many of ya'll catch air on a regular basis? Are all of the guys with this issue running aftermarket bumpstops? Maybe the additional capability is letting ya'll push the trucks harder (ie more air, higher jumps). Those bedsides have inertia. When you jump and come down, hit the bumpstop, those bedsides are still trying to travel down. Only place for it to go is to pivot out (the bed floor to bed side connection is the pivot point).

I think most that have this issue know why its happening. I was driving like a pissed off teenager all day, somethings gotta give. Fixing it is easy, but what I want is a way of preventing it from happening again.

Yeah, I agree with Kaiser's theory and I also agree with you that I'd like a preventative measure.

I took a 1 inch ratcheting tie down strap and hooked it to the rear most tie down spots. It pulled in the top sides within a 1/8th inch on both sides. I'm just going leave it tightened and drive around like that until i get something to permanently fix the issue.
