Dang I really want a Bakflip, but the guy at the place I went said that it is the worst one he sells. He said that people have actually come back and ordered a different one.

totally disagree. with all the trucks I have owned and all the covers I have installes, this is probably the best yet

Maybe he has a greater profit margin on that other bed cover. I can't think of anything I'd change about my F1.

Whatever his reasons, he's either a liar or an idiot. I wouldn't go back there. He's clearly got his own agenda.

Well it's in his book, but not sure he sells alot of them. He was very adamant about selling me one he had in the store. He did my Line X though and did a fantastic job. He probably just wanted to make a little more is all.

So how well does it handle off road? Does it pop up at all?

Now is this the 3 or 4 fold? On the 4 fold I noticed that the 2nd panel from tailgate does not have a latch on it. How does that stay down when going down the road? For examp, if you we carrying something. It just folds back right?

I believe the 4 fold is for the 6.5" bed. The ones for our trucks are all 3 fold. You can see pics in my other thread.

there was a bad batch of backflips i remember reading about on an F-150 forum a while ago where the rubber was cracking around the edges and they were leaking like crazy but i would imagine that was an isolated incident. maybe that's what the guy is thinking about
