I mounted mine in the bumper as well. I just didn't like the look of the S2 right next to the exhaust ( I don't think it would affect it, just didn't care for the look as much) I got the wiring from Rick @ Freedom but the spacing on the lights didn't allow the jumper to work. I just made my own harness and then ran the main harness through the frame rail I then hooked up to SW4. I didn't want mine to automatically come on so it made wiring even easier.

The entire light? Not sure I need a new one but I’ll ask

.
I sent it back and they tried to remove the screw themselves, and they ended up sending me a new light because they had no way of getting it out

Moving mine into the rear bumper as you did, just waiting for the bezel pieces. I’m not near my truck currently, is it possible to mount them further to the outside at all? Or is there not enough of a flat spot to make it look good?

I think it would be hard to move further outboard. I'll check and get back. I've seen them closer at an angle, but I didn't like that look either. the biggest problem is bezel size and fitting flush on the bumper.

I didn’t care for the angled look either. Light wouldn’t go where I want it.

Not sure if it does, just following manufacturer’s directions.
Bracket, spacer, then truck.

this was before anything was available and (probably) based on this write up lol.
This works perfectly fine. if you put it on the other side, you have to run a spacer due to the bend in the lip on the bracket.
