GEN 2 Baja Designs S2 back up lights install

Reach out to @Rick@FreedomMotorsports and he will get you squared away. He set me up with the S2 Kit and the additional BD wiring harnesses to connect them to the upfitter switch (I tied them into Aux 6).

They come on when I put the truck in reverse and I have the option to turn them on when not in Reverse with the switch. Super easy set up and the price was great!

Any way you could describe how you hooked up the lights to the under hood side? I have the extended harness from Baja Designs. The end of the extension harness has a weather tight plug on it, do I cut this off and wire it up to the upfiter switch as well as wire in the harness that came in the reverse kit to the tail light?

You should attach a larger wire to the AUX and Pass Through wires. These factory wires are TINY. Here's a link to how I dealt with connecting the tiny wires to the backup lights.

The connector from BD is a WeatherPack connector. I recommend that you do something similar to what I did, making all of the wires plug and play, or use a single weatherpack connector to the "improved" 12 gauge AUX wire for just the backup lights.

I just installed the S2 Reverse kit on our Raptor tonight. Super simple. We have them in stock and they are available on our website

I connected my BD S2’s into the reverse light trailer harness wire like the OP (Halo) illustrated.

I prefer my BD S2’s to come on every time I put it in reverse.

In addition, I want the ability to turn on my rear S2’s via one of the available upfitter switches in the center roof console in the cab.

Dewalt posted doing this using 2 of the upfitter switches. However, I don’t want to use two switches to accomplish this. And, I’m already using 5 of the upfitter switches for BD fogs and spots on my front Rogue Racing Enforcer Frame Horn Chop front bumper.

Has anyone done this that can share how to do it?
